ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR BIDS A WARM FAREWELL

Alas, I must bid you a warm farewell.  My time here at the Gillespie Museum has come to an end and I am moving on – home to my majestic mountains and loving family.  My next venture will be with the West Virginia State Museum in the Charleston Capitol Complex/Cultural Center as their new Museum Operations Manager.  This is a wonderful opportunity for me and a unique chance to return to my home state.

Before I leave, I wanted to say that the time I have spent here at the Gillespie has been both a positive and exciting experience.  I have met so many wonderful people and will take with me many happy memories. This has been a great place to work and I will miss the fascinating collection of minerals, the friends I have made, and the unique exhibits that I am proud to have been a part of creating.  I wish the Gillespie success in the future and hope that it continues to flourish.

Sincerely,

Holli Vanater, Associate Director
