    10am - 1pm                                                  We join other museums nationally for a day of museum hopping.                                                                             Free admission and a chance to experience our rich museum                                                                                                      culture in West Volusia.

Wednesday, October 24 ............. **NEW PROGRAM!!** Science Cafe

      7pm-9pm                                                    Nanotechnology: When Science Fiction Becomes Reality                                                                                                         Presented by Stetson chemistry professors Harry Price and Allan Thomas.                                                                                Informal conversation about the impact of this technology                                                                                                            — with coffee and chocolate                                                                                                                                                                  **Qualifies for Cultural Credit**

Saturday, October 27 ............... Mostly Green Halloween

     10am - 1pm                                                   A showcase of hands-on activities & experiments, demonstrating                                                                                                 mysterious and unusual animal behaviors and plant habits, designed                                                                                       by Stetson undergraduates.Open to all, free admission, costumes                                                                                               encouraged!

Activities include:

  • Fluorescent jack-o-lanterns
  • Florida cave with spooky bats
  • Scavenger hunt & rock quarry
  • Potions Lab & crafts
  • Refreshments

Saturday, November 3.................Homecoming Open House & Harvest

     10am - 1pm                                                        Join Hatter Harvest and The Sandhill Gang for some garden work and                                                                                       landscape restoration.

Thurs. & Fri., December 6-7.........Holiday Open House at the   10am-4pm                                   Museum Gift Shop
