"Come as a high school student, leave as a Stetson Hatter"

THE HATTER TREK

Want a fun way to meet people and learn what being a First Year Student at Stetson is all about? Want to have friends on campus before school starts and forge a bond with your peers that will last a lifetime?

Then sign-up for Hatter Trek, a four day adventure designed exclusively for First Year Students!

Hatter Treks welcome our new class to Stetson by giving you an opportunity to make friends, meet faculty, and set a vision for your first year! We hope that through Hatter Trek you become part of the Stetson family even before classes begin! You will be given advice from professors that teach at Stetson, guidance from students that currently attend Stetson, and an amazing experience with students who will be attending Stetson with you! These are friends that you will make memories with, graduate with, and remember for the rest of you life.

Where are the Hatter Treks?

This year there will be three Treks to choose from:

What do you do at Hatter Trek?

First Year students who attend will meet new people, set your vision for your first year and learn what it means to be Hatter! Boost your confidence about becoming a college student, boost confidence in yourself, develop trust, solve problems in a group setting, and become part of a community before classes even start. You'll travel together, explore the outdoors, share stories and end up with a great group of friends when you're back on campus in the Fall. You don't need to have any previous community service or outdoor experience to participate. Our leaders will teach you everything you need to know. All you need is a spirit of adventure

First-generation Students

Be sure to check out the SU First Summer Bridge Day, a one-day on-campus experience for you and your family to learn more about the resources available to first-generation Hatters. Best of all, the Bridge Day is June 22nd, the day before the ALL-ACCESS Pass Hatter Trek. Sign up for both for a 5-day Stetson experience like no other--with no additional cost! Click here for more information about the Bridge Day and what you can expect from the combined experience.

How much does Hatter Trek cost?

Costs of the Hatter Trek will vary depending on which Trek you choose. Regardless of what the price may be, expenses cover the cost of your bus lodging at Hatter Trek location, all outdoor activities and supplies, meals for four days and a Hatter Trek T-shirt.

     • All-Access Pass $150

     • Snorkel & Serve $450
