Dr. Rebecca Oliphant is an Associate Professor of Marketing and the Director of both the Executive Passport Degree Completion Program and International MBA. She has worked in education on the public-school level, the television industry, The Disney Company and co-owned a real estate publication with her husband. She also started and sold her own small children’s bookstore as a “learning lab” for her students. In her classes she does many project-themed courses based in and around her local community. Most recently, she and her students helped turn around a small restaurant by completely redesigning every aspect of the business. Rebecca likes to listen to new music and asks her students about new bands and genres, even in class. She has organized many trips abroad on the both the graduate and undergraduate level. China, Japan, South Korea, Austria, Germany, Italy, Australia and New Zealand are just a few of the many places she has visited with her Stetson students. She continues to teach as a Visiting Professor at Kufstein University (Austria) to students from over 30 different countries.
