Kristie Born
School of Music Coordinator for Accompanying and Functional Keyboard
Kristie Born is a collaborative pianist with a broad range of experience in vocal and instrumental chamber music as well as in opera. She has performed extensively in this country and abroad. Her travels have included tours of Japan and Russia with the Iowa Opera and the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, and she has served as performer and coach for the Operafestival di Roma in Italy and the University of Miami Salzburg Vocal Program. She is currently the coordinator for accompanying and functional keyboard at Stetson University, where she also teaches classes in accompanying and keyboard, and serves as coach for the Stetson Opera Theater.
