Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts
Krista Franco is assistant professor of theatre arts at Stetson University and serves as the program's resident designer. She has held faculty positions at Washington and Lee University, Randolph College and Connecticut College. Franco has worked as a scenic designer at several prestigious regional theatre companies, including the Utah Shakespearean Theatre Festival, Goodspeed Operahouse and Yale University. In 2006, she co-founded Endstation Theatre Company, which produces regional new work and unique theatrical experiences each summer in central Virginia. The company recruits young professionals from colleges and universities throughout the country to apprentice with Endstation's core group of theatre artists. Franco continues to sit on the board of directors, while also serving as the company's production manager and resident scenic designer. She is also a member of Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) and The United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT).
