Glen Epley

Professor of Education

Glen Epley has been a sportswriter for a metropolitan daily newspaper, a high school history teacher, professor at three universities, deputy superintendent for a 55,000 student school district, and a senior executive for one of the world's largest insurance brokerages. He earned his Ph.D. from Duke University in 1980. In addition to publishing his research in scholarly journals, he is a frequent presenter at national conferences on legal and financial topics in education. At Stetson, he teaches primarily in the graduate program for educators pursuing masters' degrees in educational leadership. He teaches at both the DeLand and Celebration campuses each semester. He also teaches a First Year Seminar each year for undergraduates that focuses on the legal rights of students in public schools.
