Boyd Jones

University Organist and
Price Professor of Organ

Boyd Jones holds a bachelor of music degree from the Stetson University School of Music, where he studied organ with Paul Jenkins. He holds two master's degrees and a doctorate from the Yale School of Music, where he studied organ with Charles Krigbaum and harpsichord with Richard Rephann. Additional study has been with the late Robert Noehren and with Harald Vogel at the North German Organ Academy.

Jones is a frequent recitalist for schools, churches, American Guild of Organists chapters and other groups throughout the U.S. Additionally he has performed for regional conventions of the American Guild of Organists, and national conventions of MTNA, the Southeastern Historical Keyboard Society and the Organ Historical Society. Performances abroad have included series of recitals in Japan and Bulgaria.
