Ann Adams

Lecturer, Oboe and Music Education

Ann Adams received the doctor of music in performance, the master of music in performance and the master of music education degrees from Florida State University and the bachelor of music degree in performance from Western Michigan University.

Dr. Adams is an active recitalist and clinician. She is a frequent performer with various orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout central Florida. Dr. Adams is a founding member of the faculty woodwind trio Tres Vientos and the faculty woodwind quintet Veritate Winds. As a Baroque oboist, Dr. Adams has participated in the Baroque Performance Institute at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio and the Western Baroque Festival in Seattle, Washington. She is an active member of the International Double Reed Society, the College Music Society, the Music Educator's National Conference, the Florida Music Educator's Association, and the Florida Bandmaster's Association.
