Jane T. Bradford
Coordinator of Library Instruction and Research Librarian
Jane Bradford's primary responsibility is to coordinate the library’s instruction program through which she teaches individual classes throughout Stetson’s curricula. She also serves as a research librarian and is responsible for collection development in three classification sections, the Children’s Collection being the most fun. Bradford wrote the first comprehensive Information Literacy plan for the Library, and the Library’s Instruction and Information Literacy Program was awarded one of the University’s two commendations during the 2000 SACS self study review. She has participated in librarian exchanges all over the world, visiting libraries in China, Russia, Germany, Great Britain and Northern Ireland. In 2001, she received the University’s Hand Award for Community Service. She has published in refereed library journals and standard library reference sources.
