| What? |
Stetson University will be hosting a course redesign institute titled, "Building Capacity for Incorporating Academic Service-Learning in STEM Course Development" During this institute, faculty from Stetson and from colleges and universities around the region will redesign their courses in STEM and STEM-related fields to include community engaged learning as a major component of the course. |
| Who? |
Any faculty in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and related disciplines (including Community Health and Environmental Studies) who are interested in either redesigning an existing course or developing a new course that will incorporate the principles and strategies of high-quality community-based instruction. |
| How? |
During the 2-day institute, participants will be revising their syllabi through a hands-on, multi-step process. It is critical that participants are available for the full-institute.
