- Lighting

Walk into room, check ambient lighting, wall plate, and touch screen presets - Display
Attach laptop computer, switch projector on,check projector and monitor for proper screen fit and focus - Touch screen
Confirm it's appropriately responsive, note hard buttons that don't work well or at all - Hand-held remotes
Confirm functionality, examine battery compartments for leakage, test response, swap batteries as needed - Visual signal
Confirm clean signal for doc cam, video, desktop, and laptop image, examine test media from the "maintenance" page. Click the link that corresponds to your resolutionfor projected size (usually 1024x768), andhit the F11 button one keyboard to maximize the image. Check skin tones, contrast, brightness; beware of "yellowed" image, note dropout pixels - VHS
Perform VHS test, confirmcontrollable and adequate audio - DVD unit (or computer)
Perform DVD disc test, confirm controllable and adequate audio - Laptop Connectivity
Plug in ethernet cable, checkethernet connectivity, then unplug and confirm wireless connectivity - Projection screen
Confirm it's retractable fromwheelchair height, and clean - Computer audio
Examine test media audio file, confirming good volume and stereo functionality, confirm the computer isunmuted - Overhead projector
Is one present, with a spare bulb, good image? - Document camera
Ceiling: is it on, is the controller responsive? Desktop: Does it function correctly? - Furniture integrity
Check keyboard drawer, reflections in glass, whiteboard integrity, etc. - Remote mouse

Note lamp hours,fixes done, needed, and other comments
