Michael Bitter, Ph.D., CPA
Dr. Bitter is the Rinker Distinguished Professor of Accounting, Chair of the M.E. Rinker, Sr. Institute of Tax and Accountancy and Director of the Master of Accountancy Programs at Stetson University.

Richard W. Copeland, JD, LLM
Dr. Copeland is an Associate Professor of Business Law and Tax at Stetson University and has extensive experience in the areas of taxation and estate planning.

Patrick J. Knipe, M.Acc., CPA
Mr. Knipe earned his B.S. and M.Acc. degrees from Stetson University. He is a CPA with extensive experience in public accounting. He began his career at a local accounting firm and, after a merger with the international firm of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouse Coopers), he was named managing partner of the firm's Orlando office. He has extensive experience in public practice, having served as audit engagement partner for clients in the commercial, governmental, and not-for-profit sectors. Mr. Knipe served for one year as president of the Florida Institute of CPAs and for six years on the National Council of the AICPA. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and chairs the Audit Committee of CCS Medical Holdings, Inc.

Kevin M. Miller, M.Acc., CPA
Mr. Miller earned a master's degree in accountancy and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Stetson University in DeLand, Fla. He also earned a bachelor's degree in English literature from Rollins College.
During his six years with KPMG, LLP in Orlando, Kevin managed clients in various industries, such as Darden Restaurants, Crane Technologies Group (manufacturing), The CED Companies (real estate and construction), Florida's Natural (agribusiness) and Badcock Home Furnishings. Currently, Kevin is the director of finance and accounting for the Atlantic Center for the Arts. For the past ten years, Kevin has served as treasurer for Sawmill Investments, LP, an investment management firm with over $18 million in assets. He has performed contract services for an audit and tax firm in Maitland, Fla., and served as vice president of finance for a peripheral computer and component design firm located in Jacksonville, Fla.
For the past four years, Kevin has served as an adjunct instructor for Stetson University's School of Business Administration, teaching accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Kevin serves as treasurer for the Himalayan Youth Foundation, and has served on the Fiscal Advisory Board of the City of Maitland, the Orlando Opera Company and the Housing Resource Development Association, a HUD project dedicated to providing housing for the disabled.

Lisa Smith-Jones
Lisa Smith Jones is an adjunct professor of accounting. She provides auditing and consulting services to municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, hospitals, educational institutions and high-tech companies.
