Working today to change the schools of tomorrow!

The Nina B. Hollis Institute serves as a comprehensive learning community. In collaboration with local community leaders, district personal, educational agencies and university faculty, the Institute has created a model for reform that supports education. Through dissemination and assistance the Institute provides in-service and information to educators, families, businesses, universities, and policy-makers for the advancement of teaching and learning.

The Nina B. Hollis Institute for Educational Reform at Stetson University and Florida schools have joined together to participate in K-12 educational reform and to accomplish common educational goals that include developing exemplary practice to maximize student outcomes, providing optimum sites for preservice teacher training, offering connected inservice teacher professional development and implementing reflective inquiry to enhance teacher and student learning and development.

Vision Statement

The institute serves as a catalyst to positively impact preK-20 education through inquiry, research, and professional practice. The Institute works collaboratively with educators, families, businesses, universities, and policies makers for the advancement of teaching and learning.
