Fifty talented young ladies comprise the Stetson Women's Chorale. Their new CD, "Life's Loveliness," was released in September 2012 on the Clear Note Label and is available on iTunes, Naxos and other digital media, or in print. Order a copy, or click the CD cover below to read about the release.
They sang recently at the Southern Division conference of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The Chorale has recorded for Santa Barbara Music Publishing, and maintains and active performing schedule every season. This auditioned choir rehearses 4 days per week. The Stetson Chorale performs music from all stylistic periods, including extended works for Women's Chorus.The participants' majors range from Vocal Performance to Marine Biology to Business to Political Science and everything in between.The Chorale enjoys a strong sense of community and friendship, though during rehearsals, hard work and musical focus prevail.Dr. Larson founded and continues to conduct the Stetson Women's Chorale and all rehearsals are open-door for any who wish to visit. The choir meets Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:05 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m.
