Orff-Schulwerk

Sheri Myers, Certified Orff Instructor
This internationally recognized approach, developed by the German composer and educator Carl Orff, combines movement, singing and the playing of instruments, such as xylophones and glockenspiels. The rhythmic Orff approach emphasizes the value of group performance and is filled with clapping, moving, and keeping a beat with anything near at hand -- all the fun things children ages 3 to 9 love to do!

  • Location: Presser Hall, Room 113
