Professor Fitzgerald recently joined the Law Commission of England and Wales as a visiting academic advisor on their wildlife law reform project. The Commission’s public consultation officially opened August 14th, and that stage of the project concludes on November 30th, with its formal report to the Parliament and the British Department of the Environment and Rural Affairs targeted for early next year. This is the first time an American law professor has served in this capacity at Britain’s principal law reform agency.
