Delegations from Bulgaria, the Middle East, and Mexico visited Stetson’s Gulfport campus over the past month.

International criminal law professor Luz Nagle met with three visitors from Bulgaria’s Ministry of the Interior on Sept. 29 to discuss combating transborder crime as a threat to national security  and the global pandemic of human trafficking. She discussed national security policy and organized crime issues with delegates from  the Iraqi military high command  and Lebanese  defense ministers  on Oct. 1. The distinguished visitors met with Nagle as part of a program coordinated by the International Council of the Tampa Bay Region and the United States Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program.
