JD-Grado Requirements

Stetson students must complete the first and last academic years at Stetson and their second and third years at Granada. At Stetson, students will complete a minimum of the 59 credits of the total of 88 credits they need to complete their J.D. degree. This includes all the required courses of the program of study at Stetson and Granada. At Granada, students will complete a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and a total of 180 ECTS credits towards completion of their Grado en Derecho degree. This amount includes all the required courses of the program of study at Granada and those at Stetson. After completing the four years of study at Stetson and in Spain, students will receive the Grado en Derecho from Granada and the J.D. degree from Stetson.

Spanish Language Entrance Exam

U.S. Students must take the DELE exam (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) and must pass the B2 (Intermediate) level in order to prove Spanish Language proficiency.

Registration for the DELE exams:

  • For the May examination, the registration dates are usually February-April.
  • For the August examination, the registration dates are usually in July.
  • For the November examination, the registration dates are usually September-October.
