Conservation of threatened wildlife has always been a challenging job, and it is especially challenging today as the natural systems that support wildlife are increasingly disrupted by climate change. Fortunately, along the coasts and floodplains where storms and floods are intensifying, some of the best strategies for saving endangered wildlife also happen to protect people and property. In his presentation, John will discuss his work at the National Wildlife Federation to achieve this "triple win" using the Endangered Species Act, flood insurance law, and the principles of climate change adaptation. 

Ken Feinberg Visits Stetson Law

Ken Feinberg, administrator of the BP oil spill escrow fund and past administrator of compensation funds for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and Virginia Tech victim donations, spoke at Stetson Law in spring 2012 as the Nichols Foundation Prominent Speakers Lecturer.
