Spring 2024 Commencement
Congratulations to our graduates! The Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremony will be held in the Plaza Mayor at 8:30 a.m. on May 18, 2024. In case of inclement weather the Commencement Ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the alternate site location – First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg.
The Honors & Awards Ceremony will be held in the Great Hall at 2:00 p.m. on May 17, 2024. The Graduate Brunch will be held at the Gulfport Casino from 11:00am to 1:00pm on May 16, 2024.

2024 Commencement Speaker
Rhea Law, JD '79
President of the University of South Florida
President Law's connection to Stetson University College of Law is deeply rooted. Following her graduation from the College of Law, President Law served as Chair of the College of Law's Board of Overseers (currently an Honorary Board member), served on the Stetson University Board of Trustees, and was inducted to the Hall of Fame.
Before her appointment as President and CEO of University of South Florida, President Law held numerous leadership positions with many Florida-based organizations and led the merger with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as President and CEO of Fowler White Boggs. She practiced law in the areas of environment and land use, economic development, and government. Her contributions to higher education, the state of Florida, the College of Law community, and the law and business communities are beyond measure.
President Law earned her bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
