This module focuses on improving the quantity and quality of information collected during any information collection phase of the legal process. Specifically, the module teaches participants how to better prepare and strategize for their interview and how to formulate questions that will afford them the greatest chance for collection of the information they are seeking or pursuing. Participants are also taught how to recognize and manage potential deceptive strategies and how to utilize a professional demeanor that facilitates the disclosure of information. The module also emphasizes the importance of timely follow-up and provides participants with techniques for the overall comprehensive collection of information.
We are approved for 2.5 hours of CLE general credits and 1 hour of ethics with The Florida Bar. Although we only apply for CLE credit in the state of Florida, we will provide you with a packet of materials at the conference if you would like to apply for CLE credit in another state. Stetson University College of Law does not pay the application fee for CLE applications in states other than Florida.
