Busting Hurricane Myths 2009
As part of its campus hurricane preparedness efforts, Stetson University College of Law hosted a luncheon program on this issue on Sept. 8, 2009. Tom Iovino, the Pinellas County communications specialist specializing in emergency preparedness, gave an informative presentation debunking many common myths about hurricanes and the plans people make to prepare.
