Registration for all students interested in participating in any clinic or externship course for Fall 2017, will open Friday, March 24th, at 9:00 a.m., and will run through April 3, at 5:00 p.m. spots in the Civil Legal Clinic, Veterans Advocacy Clinic, Public Defender Clinic, and many others are still open. If you have wanted to try a case, argue a motion, draft a research paper, help a veteran, or strengthen your interviewing techniques, now is the chance. These opportunities and many more are available for Fall, 2017.
To apply, students will need a resume, unofficial transcript, and brief personal statement as to the placement(s) of their choosing. Students will also need to fill out our online application, found at: https://secure.stetson.edu/law/cai. In support of registration, Clinical Education is hosting a Student Panel, from 12:00 p.m. -1:30 p.m. in F&R. At the Student Panel you can speak directly with current and former extern and clinic participants about their experiences and opportunities you should consider.
