This position supports the HSN Legal team to ensure advertising compliance on the HSN Live Show TV. The Legal Affairs Department at Tampa International Airport is currently looking for a hard-working, bright, and energetic law student to join our 2017 Summer Internship Program. Our internship gives the opportunity for a budding law professional to gain hands-on work experience, including legal research and writing, but also learn about the inner workings of a local government agency by spending time in various departments of the Airport.  The Internship Program offers a two-month paid, internship opportunity at Tampa International Airport. The Internship Program is a combination of mentoring, learning activities, and project work designed to give broad exposure to the inner workings of a local government agency. The nature of the assignments will vary, allowing opportunity to exercise customization and creativity, while providing a practical business experience.  Requirements: Applicants should have excellent organization skills and attention to detail orientation; We are looking for first or second year law students ideally; Minimum 3.0 grade point average; Demonstrated work ethic, goal-oriented, and past history of academic success; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinker, leader, team player, and self-managed learner; and Must be fingerprinted and pass background check to comply with Airport badging requirements.  This is a paid internship over a 2-month duration from June to July 2017 and includes paid parking. Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe (2Ls for Summer Law Clerk positions in its office(s) in Orlando, FL). The employer has provided the following information:
Summer Clerks will spend 12 weeks rotating through our various sections of law. Students will be responsible for recording time, managing their calendar, shadowing attorneys and drafting documents. In addition to our professional mentoring, we encourage our clerks to attend various social gatherings put on throughout the summer. Our goal is that students leave with a better understanding of the various types of law as well as a better understanding of our firm.
