This Thursday – All of your clinical education professors in one place – Clinical Education Roundtable – 11:45-1:15 in the Great Hall
Join the Clinical Education Department this Thursday, October 20 for its joint Externship/Clinic Roundtable.
You will have an opportunity to attend a roundtable event featuring Stetson’s exceptional extern faculty, as well as our adjunct professors and practicing professionals teaching in our clinics — all in the Great Hall, all at one time. Hear our practicing attorneys talk about the ways you can represent clients in court, for course credit, then rotate tables to speak with one of our extern faculty about the exciting lawyering opportunities they offer.
Each clinic adjunct professor will have a round table for their clinic; many will be joined by current or former clinic students, and other practicing attorneys. Similarly, each Externship faculty member will have a round table for their externship(s). Interested students will fill the remaining seats. This is an opportunity for students to speak directly with the adjunct faculty and practicing attorneys about their clinic, the placement locations, and the classroom component.
The Roundtable event, originally scheduled for October 5th, has been merged with this October 20th event, in order to facilitate attendance at the Provost Candidate sessions. If you previously registered for the October 5th event, your existing registration for the Externship Roundtable will be transferred to the October 20 Externship/Clinic Roundtable, and you do not have to re-register or re-commit as you see additional docket announcements. If you have not already registered, we encourage you to RSVP for this fantastic opportunity by emailing us at email@example.com.
Mark your calendars for the combined Externship/Clinic Roundtable
