Student Worker Needed for Department of Alumni Relations

The Office of Alumni Relations is looking for a student assistant to work approximately 20 hours per week during the summer and fall semester, and to assist with the daily operations of the department, including, but not limited to:
o Fielding phone calls and providing information/answers to callers
o Greeting office visitors upon arrival and providing answers, resources, and customer service
o Operating department copier including scanning capabilities
o Being responsible for retrieving, delivering and sorting incoming and outgoing mail
o Assisting with event planning and preparation, as well as marketing the office’s events.
o Assisting with updating the alumni database and other documents of record for the department.
o Assisting with various mass mailings

Candidates must:
o Be energetic, organized, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
o Be reliable and have time-management skills.
o Have experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
