Student Employment – Moot Court Assistant Needed
If you are a second- or third-year student (who is not a member of one of our Advocacy teams and who has completed R&W II) and are interested in part-time employment, please keep reading.
Are you an organized person who has an eye for details? Would you like an opportunity to work with Stetson’s award-winning Moot Court Board? Then consider applying for one of the Moot Court Assistant positions.
We are looking for one or two students who are interested in helping with the administrative tasks of the Moot Court Board. Our Moot Court Assistants are key to the success of the Moot Court Board because their responsibilities include such tasks as recruiting practice judges (professors, attorneys, and judges); providing all the materials to practice judges; keeping practice schedules updated; updating and maintaining databases; assisting with the competitions that Stetson hosts; researching; editing; and completing other special projects. The Assistants work closely with me and the team coaches. We are looking for students who are willing to work during both the fall and spring semesters.
If you are interested, please apply through Symplicity. You will need to submit a copy of your current resume and a statement of interest (no longer than 2 pages; Times New Roman, 14-point font; one-inch margins, please) by 12:00 noon, Friday, September 8. If you have forgotten your Symplicity login information, please email email@example.com.
