Student Bar Association By-Laws and Upcoming Vote

Good Afternoon Students,

As some of you may be aware, the Student Bar Association has been working throughout the semester to update our By-Laws and have them put in place moving forward for the student body. In order to have these By-Laws enacted in the upcoming semester, the Student Body is required to vote on the changes and a majority of the voting students must approve the By-Laws in order for them to become effective. Attached, you will find copies of the Bylaws for your review, along with a Redline copy to highlight the changes that have been made. Please review these documents prior to the Student Body vote.

SBA Proposed By-Law changes final version

The referendum vote on approval of the By-Laws will be held from Nov. 16th to Nov. 20th on HatterSync. Each Article of the By-Laws will be voted on individually.

In addition, SBA will be allowing students to come in and speak during our SBA meeting on Nov. 14th at 12pm on any questions or concerns that they may have. If you have a question or concern and are unable to attend, we ask that you please submit your question to SBA by 11:59pm on Nov. 13th. Once all questions have been addressed and answered, SBA will make public all of the responses that were made. Thank you all for your help and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate in reaching out to the SBA Executive Council.
