SBA Open Seat Elections

The Elections Committee and SBA will be having open seat elections to fill the currently vacant representative seats in the legislative council on Tuesday, February 14, beginning at 12:00pm in Classroom A or via Teams. Open seats are available as follows:

LLM Representative – 1 open seat

Part-time section 1 P1 Representative – 2 open seats

Part-time section 2 P2 Representative – 2 open seats

Part-time section 3 P3 Representative – 2 open seats

Part-time section 4 P4 Representative – 2 open seats

Open seats for each class will be filled with corresponding members first. If open seats remain at the end of the elections, then they will be opened to students of all classes.

To run for an open seat, you must be present on Tuesday, February 14, at 12:00pm in Classroom A or via Teams. Please notify the Elections Committee beforehand via the below email address, if you intend to run. 

Students who do not e-mail the Elections Committee in advance and show up to run, are still eligible, but will jeopardize our ability to plan the election effectively.

If you would like to run for an open seat but are unable to attend in person or via Teams, please email the Elections Committee at [email protected] with an excuse by 11:59pm on Sunday, February 11 and we will look into whether accommodations can be made.

SBA representatives are critically important to the success of SBA, campus organizations, and many on and off-campus events!
