RSVP to the Innocence Initiative’s – Wrongfully Convicted Event with Guest Speaker Jason Strong
On Wednesday, October 12th at 5:00 p.m. in Classroom F, the Innocence Initiative will be hosting Jason Strong as our guest speaker. Mr. Strong was convicted of killing a developmentally disabled woman, a crime he did not commit. Mr. Strong was the victim of false confessions and improper forensic science. Fifteen years later he was exonerated after the State Attorney’s Office re-investigated his case and successfully proved his innocence. In his presentation, Mr. Strong will focus on his experience with the legal system, how his innocence was proven, and what his life has been like since exoneration.
This will be an evening you will not forget.
Dinner will be served. Please RSVP to email@example.com. And also spread the word.
