RSVP for Next Foreman Biodiversity Lecture – Judge Anthony Lucky (International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea)
Please join us for the last Edward and Bonnie Foreman Biodiversity Lecture of the semester on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at noon in the Great Hall. Judge Anthony Lucky (International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea) will be presenting “The Role of the Courts in Promoting Biodiversity.”

Judge Lucky has been a Member of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) since 2003. He served as President of the Chamber for Marine Environment Disputes 2005–2008 and 2011–2014, and he has been the President of the Fisheries Disputes Chamber since 2014. Before Judge Lucky was elected to ITLOS, he was a judge of the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago and a justice of appeal in the Court of Appeal of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2012, Judge Lucky received the Chaconia Medal (Gold) for his service to Trinidad and Tobago.
This lecture is being hosted in conjunction with the International Finals of Stetson’s Twenty-First Annual International Environmental Moot Court Competition.
