Reminder: Summer 2014 Financial Aid Requirements

Student Financial Planning would like to share important information with you regarding Federal financial aid eligibility for the 2014 summer term.  Please complete the Summer 2014 Financial Aid Request Form and return it to the Office of Admissions and Student Financial Planning.

For students who are planning to take summer courses, a distinct financial aid budget exists based upon the course(s) for which you register. You are eligible for living expense money only for the actual duration of your attendance if you elect to attend less than the full summer term of nine weeks.  Example: If you enroll in a course that lasts 3 weeks, you will receive aid to cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and living expenses only for this 3 week period.

Pay attention to the length of the courses when enrolling if you are concerned with receiving living expenses during the summer.  We can only award aid for the course, and the length of the course, for which you are enrolled.  Be advised that living expenses are budgeted at approximately $700 per week.

If you change your course schedule after you submit this form, you must contact us to amend your aid package in order to ensure timely disbursement of funds.

If you would like to meet with a Student Financial Planning counselor to talk about your summer financial aid package, please email us for an appointment.

Please feel free to e-mail this form to or fax to 727-384-3331
