Reminder – Registration for summer 2017 clinics and externships open, Friday, February 17 through Monday, February 27. Consider placements in Homeless Advocacy, Municipal & Admin Law, State Litigation, In-House Counsel, the Civil Legal Clinic, and many more!

Registration for all students interested in participating in any clinic or externship course for Summer 2017, opened Friday, February 17th, at 9:00 a.m., and will run through February 27, at 5:00 p.m. spots in the Homeless Advocacy Externship, Municipal & Administrative Law Externship, State Litigation Externship, In-House Counsel Externship, and Civil Legal Clinic.  If you have wanted to try a case, argue a motion, draft a research paper, or strengthen your interviewing techniques, now is the chance.   These opportunities and many more are available for Summer, 2017.

To apply, students will need a resume, unofficial transcript, and brief personal statement as to the placement(s) of their choosing.  Students will also need to fill out our online application, found at:

In support of registration, Clinical Education is hosting a Clinic/Externship Roundtable on February 23rd, from 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. in the Great Hall.  At the Roundtable you can speak directly with overseeing faculty members and practicing attorneys about the courses they teach and the specific placement opportunities available to you.
