Law Clerk Panel: This is a great opportunity for law students, recent law school graduates, and lawyers to learn about the federal judicial clerkship application process and the law clerk experience. Panelists will include former judicial law clerks to a Circuit Judge in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, a District Judge and a Magistrate Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and a Bankruptcy Judge in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.
TIME: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Federal Practice Seminar: This seminar is a great opportunity to learn the in’s and out’s of federal court practice. It will cover topics ranging from pro bono opportunities in federal court, removal and jurisdiction, case management and motion practice, to preserving issues for appeal. The seminar will include presentations by prominent federal court practitioners as well as members of the judiciary. The YLD is applying for CLE Credit from the Florida Bar.
TIME: 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
