Human Trafficking Panel – American Bar Association Law Student Division

12:00pm – 12:50pm

Great Hall

The American Bar Association will host a panel of speakers for a provocative conversation about sex trafficking in our community – where and how it’s happening, what’s being done, and how we can help fight this growing epidemic as law students and future attorneys. Florida ranks as one of the most notorious states for human trafficking in the US. Besides exacting a painful toll on its young victims, this underground industry takes a toll on our courts, our law enforcement, and many other state resources, making it something everyone should learn more about.
