|Event: Clinical and Experiential Education Lunch and Learn I – September 26, 2017 – Noon-1:00 p.m., Eleazer Courtroom|
|Event Date:||September 26, 2017|
|Time:||12:00 PM - 1:00 PM|
Join the Clinical and Experiential Education Department on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. in the Eleazer Courtroom for an exciting and informative open discussion of all things Experiential Education. Learn about how you can get REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE participating in a clinic or externship. Get up to speed on how experiential education “flips the classroom” by sending students out to a field placement to gain real world experience, then brings them into a classroom setting for roundtable discussions designed to reinforce each student’s professional learning goals and expectations.
Experiential Education helps students become comfortable in a real world environment, and fosters the development of skills and strengths so that students can transition effectively from school to career. If you have questions on what clinic or externship opportunities are available for you, how the classroom setting builds on your field placement experiences, or what a clinic or externship experience can do in kickstarting your career, we want to hear from you.
The Lunch and Learn will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. in the Eleazer Courtroom. Please RSVP by September 21, to firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to attend.
If you have questions, please contact Director of Clinical and Experiential Education, Prof. Cerniglia, at email@example.com, or Assistant Director of Clinical and Experiential Education, Ryan Hoyle, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
