Application Information and Deadlines: Department of Justice (DOJ) Honors Program

The Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Honors Program is the DOJ’s competitive, centralized recruitment program that is the only way for new attorneys (i.e., third-year law students and students who enter judicial clerkships, graduate law programs, or qualifying fellowships within 9 months of law school graduation) to enter the DOJ in an attorney position. The Honors Program is a fantastic and prestigious avenue to pursue this type of employment for entry level attorneys.

Below you will find important dates to keep in mind. In order to apply for the program, applicants must complete an extensive on-line application and submit several documents. Be sure to carefully review the eligibility criteria and instructions on the website before starting the application.
