	Meet the Dean Reception July 17, 2012 Dean Pietruszkiewicz met with Stetson Law alumni during a reception at the Tampa Law Center.

	Stetson Law Holiday Open House Dec. 14, 2011 Alumni from all around attended our annual Holiday Open House at the Gulfport campus, and enjoyed an evening of food, music, and friendship.

	Stetson Lawyers Association Annual Alumni and Friends Reception (in conjunction with Florida Bar Convention) Stetson Law alumni and guests came together in Kissimmee, Fla., on June 22, 2011 to honor the achievements of fellow alumni, bid farewell to Dean Dickerson (as her last official appearance as Dean before the alumni community), and welcome Dean Gardner as the new interim Dean. The annual reception honors select alumni for their accomplishments in the legal community and the community at large. New SLA officers were installed during event, with outgoing president Barbara Cowherd welcoming new president Clinton Paris.

	Class of '86 and '91 Reunion The Class of '86 and '91 Reunions were held May 20-22, 2011 in Gulfport and St. Pete Beach. Events included CLE courses on various legal topics taught by classmates, a cocktail reception, and a beach party.

	Mad Hatter Golf Classic The Ninth Annual Mad Hatter Golf Classic helped raise scholarship money for Tampa Bay area students attending Stetson University. The event was held on April 20, 2011, at Emerald Greens Golf Course in Tampa, Fla.

	Stetson Law Review Reception and 40-year Anniversary On Thursday, March 31, 2011, past and present Stetson Law Review members met at the Tampa Law Center to celebrate the many achievements of the Stetson Law Review during its 40-year history.

	SLA Spring 2011 Meeting The Stetson Lawyers Association Advisory Council had its biannual meeting on Saturday, March 12, in Gulfport, preceded by a dinner at Pia's Trattoria on March 11.

	Fall 2010 Commencement Dec. 18, 2010 Journalist and civil rights advocate John Seigenthaler Sr. addressed Stetson University College of Law's commencement ceremony on Dec. 18 at Pasadena Community Church. Ninety-one J.D. students, including 22 students from the part-time program and five students from the J.D./M.B.A. program, were presented as degree candidates. Seven students received an LL.M. in elder law, and one student received an LL.M. in international law.

	Dolly & Homer Hand Law Library Naming Ceremony Oct. 2, 2010 Stetson University College of Law, Florida's first law school, celebrated 110 years of legal education by naming the law library on its Gulfport campus after philanthropists Dolly and Homer Hand.

	Florida Bar Annual Meeting Stetson Alumni Reception June 23, 2010 The Stetson Alumni Reception in Boca Raton had approximately 100 attendees. The Stetson Lawyers Association Awards were presented during the event.

	Scholarship Gala May 1, 2010 Stetson Law's Scholarship Gala was held at TPepin's Hospitality Center in Tampa. The event raised money for student scholarships and honored Tower Award winner Judge E.J. Salcines.

	J.J. Brown's Roast Celebration and Retirement Reception April 16 and April 19, 2010 Gulfport Campus Professor James Jay Brown's legacy was celebrated during a roast event on Friday, April 16, and a retirement reception on Monday, April 19, at the Gulfport campus. Friends, family and former students gathered to express their fondness and support.

	Alumni Holiday Open House Dec. 16, 2009 Gulfport Campus More than 200 alumni and friends attended our annual Alumni Holiday Open House Reception. The night consisted of good food, music and company.

	Tallahassee Holiday Reception Dec. 15, 2009 Alumni and friends gathered for a holiday reception last week in Tallahassee at the home of Don Pumphrey '96 and Joy Pumphrey. The group of more than 40 people networked, shared stories, and reconnected with old friends.

	Hall of Fame Induction Oct. 24, 2009 Gulfport Campus Stetson University College of Law inducted six new members into its Hall of Fame on Oct. 24. This year's inductees include distinguished jurists, legal practitioners and academics.

	Class of '59 - 50th Reunion Sept. 26, 2009 Gulfport Campus Alumni and friends from the classes '56-'61 gathered in the Great Hall to celebrate the Class of '59, 50th Reunion. After dinner, many shared their stories of what life was like during law school 50 years ago.
