Veterans Advocacy Clinic
Stetson's Veterans Advocacy Clinic provides representation to Tampa Bay area veterans appealing decisions denying Veterans Administration disability benefits.


Stetson Law student veterans and eligible dependents can qualify to receive $5,000 each.

The Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship
The Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship (Fry Scholarship) provides Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits to the children and surviving spouses of Service members who died in the line of duty while on active duty after September 10, 2001. Eligible beneficiaries attending school may receive up to 36 months of benefits at the 100% level. The benefits include full in-state tuition & fees for public schools, and private or foreign school tuition & fees are capped at a statutory maximum amount per academic year. Additionally, students may receive a monthly housing allowance and stipend for books and supplies.

Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance (DEA)
The Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) program offers education and training opportunities to eligible dependents of Veterans who are permanently and totally disabled due to a service-related condition or of Veterans who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-related condition.

Stetson and USF Form Partnership

Stetson Law and the University of South Florida are joining forces to help Florida veterans through supportive clinical services, collaborative student training and joint research. The collaboration will help veterans negotiate an often complex system so that they may secure disability benefits to which they are entitled.
