BY120: Ecology of Our Changing Earth
|
| |

"Ecology of Our Changing Earth" is a course that will introduce students to basic ecological processes and the ways in which humans have impacted those processes. We will consider how a scientific understanding of topics such as climate change, population growth, and groundwater depletion can be used to provide answers to global and local environmental problems. In addition to field trips to several natural ecosystems, we will also engage in service-learning activities, allowing students to make an impact on a local scale.
