Greetings from the Center for First Year Studies!  Our office is designed to assist students transition to the academic rigor and campus life here at Stetson.  Our goal is to do all that we can to provide the "right" balance of challenge and support, and to create a campus environment that will enhance the personal growth of our students. We also know that one of the key factors in a successful first year is to ensure that parents are partners in this process. We created this site as a tool to support your involvement in your student's educational experience. Together, we can make the most of your role.

You, like your son or daughter, are now members of the Stetson University family. We encourage you to take an active role in your student's Stetson experience. By sharing academic and social activities, you will experience the same excitement, discoveries, challenges, and changes your son or daughter encounters at college. Sharing will strengthen old bonds and create new ones, making it easier for you to understand and support your student.
