COUNSELING CENTER

Counseling is  a process of self-discovery and growth.  Counseling can help us learn more about ourselves, our needs and the needs of others.  It helps to increase self-esteem and confidence and to improve our interpersonal skills.  Counseling helps us make better decisions for our emotional health and well-being. 

Everyone at one time or another can benefit from counseling.  The Counseling Center can help with a wide range of concerns such as relationship issuesfamily problems, homesickness, addictions, depression, anxiety, loneliness and low self-esteem.

The Counseling Center provides mental health services for students dealing with personal, social, academic or career concerns.  The Counseling Center helps students achieve a more satisfying educational and life experience at Stetson.  The Counseling Center services are confidential and free to all currently enrolled students.

To begin counseling contact the Counseling Center.  When you meet with a counselor, you will provide background information and discuss your current needs. 

We recommend that you schedule your appointment by phone, but you are also welcome to visit the Counseling Center in person for assistance.
