Stetson University offers many different scholarship opportunities for students that are engaged in service. Below is a list of scholarship opportunities with a short description, as well as who to contact in order to apply for these scholarships.
Savannah-Jane Atkins AmeriCorps is an opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. It’s a chance to apply your skills and ideals toward helping others and meeting critical needs in the community. Amanda Reece The Bonner Foundation, in partnership with roughly 80 colleges and universities nationwide, is the sponsor of he Bonner Scholars and Bonner Leaders Program. Our programs engage students in service and civic work to strengthen their communities, while also building mutually beneficial relationships with community partners to achieve impact and building a broader campus culture and infrastructure for civic engagement. Britany Stark The FWS Program provides funds that are earned through part-time employment to assist students in financing the costs of postsecondary education. The Center for Service Learning provides a handful of FWS positions in their office as well as at local community partner sites. Mary Gossett CAUSE stands for the Campaign for Adolescent and University Student Empowerment. It is a program that offers scholarships to students who serve as mentors to the youth at the local Spring Hill Boys and Girls Club. The students that recieve the scholarship complete 20 hours of service each week working with the Boys and Girls Club.
