Prince Entrepreneurship Program Collaborates with FAU’s TTO office The Prince Entrepreneurship Program has formed a collaboration with FAU’s technology transfer office (TTO) to study the feasibility and marketability of some of FAU’s product inventions. “It was a great fit,” according to Dr. Bill Andrews, Director of the Prince Entrepreneurship Program at Stetson University. “Many companies are started based on the promise of new products or technologies. FAU has a very active research community that has developed some very interesting technologies. Their TTO office was interested in getting an assessment of the market potential for theses products to help them better understand where to direct their resources. This semester, our students will have the opportunity to determine the feasibility and appropriate strategy for possibly launching these products. Depending on the outcome, we hope to work with FAU to find investors and actually launch the products.” Dr. Andrews can be reached at wandrews@stetson.edu. |
