Undergraduate Programs

Accounting

Prepares students for careers in public accounting, business, government, IT consulting.

Business Administration

Interdepartmental program allows students to satisfy interests in several areas, or prepare for some business or government activity or for pre-law or graduate studies.

Business Law (minor only)

Offers pre-law students skills for success in law school, and offers non-law students skills to understand legal aspects of their selected fields.

Economics

Provides an understanding of economics and business behavior and trains students in analyzing problems. Prepares students for careers in business and government or for graduate and professional study.

Degree Completion

Undergraduate degree completion program is designed for working adults with transferable credits. Features Saturday classes and leads to completion of the B.B.A.

Family Enterprise

Designed for students who come from a family that owns a business and students interested in becoming a business advisor.

Finance

Prepares students for careers in multiple settings, including the financial services sector, commerce, government, and education administration.

International Business

Three-pronged major requires language proficiency in a second language, cultural proficiency in a geographic area of interest and technical competence in international business skills.

Management

Focuses on building knowledge and skills in the areas of decision-making, problem solving, creativity, communication, teamwork, ethics, and change management.

Management Information Systems (MIS)

Prepares students for careers as information systems professionals and managers in any business environment.

Marketing

Equips students to better understand customers and the complex market system, and prepares students for positions in both public and private sectors.

Sport Management

Prepares students for careers in the sport and leisure industries in areas such as sport marketing and management, athletic administration, public relations and sport information.

Graduate Programs

Accounting

The M.Acc. program equips students with tools to be an effective decision-maker in a professional position, and meets the academic requirements for eligibility for the CPA exam. The program is available either at the DeLand campus or online.

Business Administration

The M.B.A. program provides graduates with broad competence in administration and managerial decision-making. The course of study is divided into two broad areas: the business foundation and the advanced level courses.

Law/Business Administration (Dual Degree)

A J.D./M.B.A. degree broadens career opportunities in the fields of business and law. Students completing the program receive both an M.B.A. degree from the School of Business Administration and a J.D. degree from College of Law.

Executive Business Administration

The Executive M.B.A. program at the Center at Celebration offers experienced professionals from any academic background a way to earn their Executive M.B.A. degree in just nineteen months. Classes are offered on a flexible alternating Friday and Saturday schedule.

Special Programs

Roland George Investments Program

Advanced education in investment management equips students for positions in financial institutions such as banks, trust companies, brokerage firms and investment advisory firms. Students assume full responsibility for managing a portfolio of almost $3 million, and are responsible for earning income from the fund. 

Joseph C. Prince Entrepreneurship Program

Students become part of the entrepreneurship process as viewed from strategic level of an organization. They gain theoretical and practical understandings of the process of creating a new business venture, managing a growing entrepreneurial organization and attempting to secure venture capital. 

Family Enterprise Center

The major and minor in the area of family enterprise are interdisciplinary, experiential and involve extensive interaction with professionals in family enterprises. Students assess the traits of a family enterprise and forge relationships with actual family enterprises involved in the program.

Summer Innsbruck Program

This July/August summer school extension program in Innsbruck, Austria, is made up of accredited, transferable courses, and is open to students in all majors. Classes are held mornings and are taught in English. The schedule includes time for travel, sightseeing and absorbing local cultures.
