Stetson JD/MBA – Application Checklist
All prospective JD/MBA students must first complete the admission requirements for the Stetson University College of Law. During the end of your first year of law studies, you may apply to the MBA Program. You must be independently accepted into both programs (Law School first) in order to participate in the JD/MBA Program.
Once you are ready to apply for the MBA, the Graduate Business Programs Committee of the School of Business Administration must receive the following supporting documents before action can be taken on your application. Please consult the Admissions page for admission procedures into our MBA at DeLand, MBA at Celebration, and Master of Accountancy programs.
We recommend that you first submit the application online. The Office of Graduate Business Programs will then create your file and add items 3 – 8 as they are received. Once all required items are received, your application will be considered.

2. APPLICATION FEE – waived for current Stetson JD students.
3. UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE TRANSCRIPTS - Students enrolled at the Stetson University College of Law can have transcripts, including one from the College of Law, forwarded from the Registrar's Office at the College of Law. Transcripts are reviewed to determine what, if any, foundation courses are still needed before beginning graduate MBA classes.
4. GRADUATE MANAGEMENT ADMISSIONS TEST – Current Stetson JD students who have successfully completed the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) are exempt from taking the GMAT. Copies of your LSAT scores should be forwarded from the Stetson University College of Law Registrar to the Office of Graduate Business Programs.
5. PERSONAL REFERENCES - Please have the three persons named on the application form mail their letters of recommendation directly to the Director of Graduate Business Programs. 6. PHOTOGRAPH (optional) – Please mail a recent photograph.
7. Résumé (optional) – Please mail an updated résumé.
