Mr. Mark Del Pezzo, CFA, joined the Finance Department as a Visiting Instructor beginning Fall 2010, teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He holds the professional distinction as a Chartered Financial Analyst having met those qualifications in 1998. After completing his graduate course requirements, Mr. Del Pezzo received his MBA at Jacksonville University in 1992. He received his Bachelor of Science in Management with an Economics minor from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 1984.
Mr. Del Pezzo enjoys teaching and brings his enthusiasm with him to be a part of the unique opportunity here at Stetson University. From 2009 until joining us, he taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of North Florida and while there designed a fixed income management course for their curriculum.
Throughout his corporate career, Mr. Del Pezzo achieved an extensive background as an industry executive in several areas of the financial arena focusing on investment management including portfolio manager, buy side analyst and regional Chief Investment Officer. Mark's expertise includes strategic and tactical asset allocation, securities portfolio management and asset liability management. His diverse background and range of experience will be of great value in the class room for our students.
