At the Family Enterprise Center, we believe you can not effectively learn about family enterprises without incorporating the family into the business curriculum. As a result, the parents and family members os our students play a vital role in the educational process. For instance, in the Family Business courses students are encouraged to interview family members, discuss certain assignments, and review material learned in class. In doing so, Family Business students are not only learning the material, but also practicing it. There are also a number of other ways parents and family members can become and stay involved with the Family Enterprise Center. The FEC often invites parents to join the Board of Advisors and also participate in continuing education programs.
