A native of Florida, I received my BBA degree in accounting from Stetson University. After graduating in 1981 I concentrated on developing accounting services and programs suited to best serve small business. During this process I have been instrumental in assisting many small business client achieve their goals of financial success.
For almost thirty years, I have specialized in identifying and meeting the needs of professionals, individuals, and closely held businesses. My expertise includes transition of ownership, tax planning, and related issues affecting businesses and individuals together with providing chief financial officer type accounting services on an outsource basis.
I have always been very active in the Central Florida community and has served as Chairman and on the Board of Advisors of Stetson University Family Enterprise Center. When my Daughter decided to major in family business, I became interested and assisted her in the development of her life plan and how this program will better prepare her for a career as a business consultant. Throughout her career at Stetson as a family business major, I had the opportunity to become much more involved in the program and all it offered to it's students. As a result of my involvement, my interest of remaining involved with the program will provide me an opportunity to become more sensitive to the family dynamics present in many of my clients business planning strategic sessions and will enable me to be more effective.
Other community involvement includes serving as Chairman and on the Board of Directors of the West Volusia Family YMCA, as Chairman and on the Board of Directors of the Central Florida Officials Association, as well as Chairman and on the Board of Directors the Orange City Chamber of Commerce. I am also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
